Jeanette Martin.Crossing Borders offers teambuilding workshops for teams and groups that want to work on their own issues related to cultural diversity. I define the objectives, program and length of the workshop in cooperation with the client and the participants.

In the workshops I focus on the every day practice of the team and the team members. The participants will gain new insights on existing systems and patterns by reflecting on real life cases. On the basis of these insights the participants will practice with the active application of new skills and behaviour.

I use different training techniques in the workshops such as demonstrations, drama, voice dialogue, story telling, case studies and large group structured conversations. The content of the workshops is based on academic theories.

As a certified Birkman consultant I offer the possibility to analyse the behavioural and working styles of the team according to the Birkman method.

The following are examples of topics of teambuilding workshops:

  • How can I recognize and work with the cultural differences within my team and/or between teams in my organisation?
  • How can we manage conflict in our multi-cultural team?
  • How can we improve intercultural communication in our team?
  • How can we use the potential of the cultural diversity in our team?
