I am an advanced trainer and consultant in the area of intercultural management with over 15 years of experience of working in and with multicultural teams in both the private and public sector. I feel passionate about enabling people to have insight into their own cultural and professional identity while also having the ability to be part of a larger multicultural entity.

I draw on my unique experience of working in, managing and training multi-cultural teams worldwide. I have gained this experience in Eastern, Western and African countries.

I am able to combine my practical knowledge of management practices in a variety of (inter) cultural settings with sound theoretical knowledge and professional training skills. I have a knack of engaging people in constructive dialogue, enabling insight and building on new skills.

After my professional education (University of Groningen in the Netherlands and College of Europe in Belgium), I started working in the development sector. I have worked in this sector for about 15 years, working from a public sector point of view (UNDP) as well as a private sector point of view (development banking at FMO).

After having worked in a multi-cultural setting in different parts of the world for 11 years, I decided to put to use as a trainer/consultant the practical knowledge and experience of managing cultural diversity that I had gained over the years.

I was trained as a trainer at a well-known Dutch training institute. Before becoming an independent trainer and consultant, I worked as a trainer/consultant in the development sector for a Dutch training and consultancy agency.
